Are you working on an advanced degree and looking for a role that aligns with your academic and professional goals? Or are you an experienced researcher interested in a full-time opportunity in the growing field of AI training? If so, this Clinical Researcher AI Trainer role might be perfect for you!

DataAnnotation is hiring Clinical Researcher AI Trainers to help evaluate and train AI chatbot models. This flexible, remote position allows you to work from anywhere and choose your projects, making it an excellent fit for researchers pursuing an advanced degree as well as those with established expertise.

What Does an AI Trainer Do?

An AI Trainer helps guide and shape how artificial intelligence models interpret and respond to complex information. In this role, either you’d present the AI with real-world clinical scenarios or receive scenarios to test. You would then evaluate its responses and provide feedback to improve its accuracy and problem-solving skills. The end goal is to create an AI that can reliably support healthcare professionals by delivering precise, data-driven insights—almost like having a knowledgeable assistant that learns and adapts to the demands of the field.

They are currently hiring both full-time and part-time employees. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a complete career shift or simply for earning some extra money on the side.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Challenging AI chatbots with complex, diverse scenarios and evaluating their responses.
  • Measuring the quality of AI models to ensure logical accuracy and problem-solving effectiveness.

Hourly pay starts at $40, with additional bonuses for high-quality work—an appealing incentive for those who enjoy a mix of critical thinking, data analysis, and AI training.

Key Qualifications

To succeed as a Clinical Researcher AI Trainer, you’ll need:

  • Proficiency in Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Ethics, Clinical Pharmacology, Health Economics, Translational Medicine, Nursing, or Public Health (an advanced degree in progress or completed is highly preferred but not required).
  • Strong skills in research methods, inductive/deductive reasoning, and data analysis.
  • Fluent, native-level English proficiency to ensure accuracy in language-based AI training.

The Perks

  • Work from Anywhere: Fully remote position with a flexible schedule.
  • Choose Your Projects: Find tasks that align with your expertise and interests.
  • Competitive Pay: Starting at $40/hour, with potential bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work.

If you’re interested in contributing to the future of AI in healthcare while enjoying the freedom of remote work, or simply need a little extra income, this role could be a rewarding fit.
